Suzanne Himmel

She married the love of her life, Harvey Himmel, of blessed memory, on November 5, 1951. She was a deeply devoted wife and a loving mother to Donna (Norman of blessed memory), Gary (Ilona), and Brian (Marianne).

She was the proud grandmother of Alyse (Joe), Jamie (Alan), Ian (Nicole), Paul (Linda), Steven, Keith (Alyssa), Jordan (Estrella), Cade, Dylan, step-grandmother to Kristen (Jake), Kendall (Joe), and Austin. She was blessed with 12 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy.

She remained joyfully connected to her entire family throughout her life. Even those who live far away stayed in close touch and visited often. Her greatest pleasure was her family and she was the heart of theirs. Her love, warmth and wisdom will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Harvey Himmel, and her cherished sister and brother-in-law, Margie and Irv Kaffen with whom she remained exceptionally close throughout her life.

A graveside service will be held at Bet Olam Cemetery at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 10, 2025. Shiva will be observed at the home of Donna Shafran: Friday, immediately following the service; Saturday, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM; and Sunday, 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
