

Mother Anne Exton was born April 19, 1937, in Myrtlewood, Alabama, to the latee Antee (Avery) and Will Rembert. Being the youngest on nine, she is preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.
Anne received the gift of the Holy Ghost at the early age of 12, under Pastor Anderson, in Myrtlewood, Alabama. She grew older and served as Church Secretary under the leadership of Elder Scott.
She later relocated to Cleveland to be closer to her siblings. In 1982, she became a member of Christ Temple Apostolic Faith Church, where she was Spiritually restored, under the leadership of Bishop Stanley Halton.
After leaving Christ Temple Apostolic Faith Church, she began attending worship services in her senior apartment building, as she was no longer able to drive, and joined Hang on In There Ministries under the leadership of Bishop Charles Hill. She remained a faithful member until she was called home.
From a young age, Anne always received great joy from taking care of the sick, special needs children and helping others in need. For many years she supported St Jude Children's Research Hospital where they treat children with Cancer and other pediatric diseases. She also partnered with and prayed for them for many years. Other beloved charities include the City Mission, American Cancer Society, homeless shelters and the American Bible Society, a non-profit that supports global bible distribution and the spreading of God's Word.
Anne worked as a Nursing Assistant until the late 60's then enrolled in nursing school, she took and passed the Ohio State Board of Nursing exam to become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), a career which she cherished and maintained until retirement.
She leaves to cherish her memory three children, Audrey, Angienetta and Anthony. Eight grandchildren, Tiffany, Tyler, Devan, Dylan, Kayla, Monterio, Giavonna and Kyron. A host of nieces, nephews and their extended families, as well as several Spiritual sons and daughters which include Sharina George and family.
A memorial service for Anne will be held Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Cummings & Davis Funeral Home, 13201 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44112. An interment private will occur.
