Dear Brother of Ingbert, Ursel, Karl, Inge, Renate (all deceased). Dearest Brother-in-Law of Luigi and Francesca Ruggiero. Beloved great grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend of many. Bernd was born in Bad Munder, Germany. He came to Cleveland in 1954 where he met the love of his life Civita at West Tech H.S. Ben was very involved in his church, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, and his community in the Detroit Shoreway neighborhood. Dad was a master carpenter, lover of trains and passed his truck driver's license in Germany at the young age of 17. After many years of woodworking he transitioned to plexiglass. We were blessed to have such a wonderful hard working dad. Rest in Peace and tell Mom we said Hi! We will never forget you.
