Oh wasn't these the Days How I wish I could turn back time.

Not a coincidence I was up pretty late on friday eve early sat 2-3 am making shirts for my great-nephew and husband for that morning for a peaceful civil war enactment and it was making the shirts thought of Duane was running through my head with him telling me everything will be alright. He knew that my husband is very sick and that I also lost my first son Robert (Bobby) USMC combat  in 2013. I was just reminiscing of all the late nights at all his DJ venues as I was growing up, I guess I could blame him for being out late several nights a week. Not to mention the trips he would take down south with my Dad (Fred) and all our family always had such a happy demeanor and huge smile except the horror on this face when my jeans caught fire while standing right in front of a bomb fire .Waited for us to go in the cabin to see everyone screaming get out your on fire .The whole Cabin had a good laugh with that one.. Duane would always seem to showed up to save me from my son's abusive dad !! He would always know what to do coming through the door like I thought you was making hot ham and cheese sandwiches.🙂 I was so excited that we was able to hire Duane for my Son's wedding reception and as always everyone had a wonderful time ..  Im also glad that we was able to reconnect the last several years . I still have mixed emotions about this visit that morning I truly believe he was telling me that every thing is gonna be alright that he was gonna be ridding harleys with Bobby and for me to focus on my husband.  What a truly Godly Man he had always been to me and my family. He will be extremely missed and always in your memories.  Please know that My Thoughts and Prayers are with All Duane's Family, Friends and All those that He had touched in so many ways for the positive.  GodSpeed.  Hopefully at a later date he and I will continue our Conversation. 🙏🙏🙏🙏💝

Sending heartfelt condolences to Roxanne and all of the family. I remember Duane, as a kid, in East TN. He was a vibrant and kind friend who always had a smile and a twinkle in his eyes. God Bless you all, looks like he made a big, beautiful family.

This is a very hard pill to swallow I wish this was a bad dream but its not Im going to Miss you so very much Dad all the bday parties when you would show up it was always "Let's get to the cake" your laugh your smile I could tell you anything even the personal stuff an we would just look an laugh at each other Well Dad its never good bye its see you later So Until we meet again Love ya see ya later...
