Earl was the devoted and loving husband of Betty Dodd (née Duncan), whose life he shared with endless love, laughter, and companionship. He was a proud and caring father to Kyle Dodd, Kara Gillespie (Ray), Gordon Dean (Brittney), and Mary Fowler (Jon Patterson), and a deeply cherished grandfather to Scarlet Patterson and Rylee Dean, who brought immense joy and pride to his life.
He was a dear brother to Angelo Strano (the late Evelyn), Linda Petrik, the late Jean, Darrell Dodd, Russell Dodd, the late Merle Dodd, the late James Strano, and Tommy Dodd. Earl also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends who will forever treasure his humor, kindness, and unforgettable spirit.
For 38 years, Earl worked as a truck driver, dedicating himself tirelessly to providing for his family. Outside of work, he found happiness in the simple things he loved most — classic cars, trips to the casino, sharing jokes, and making people laugh. Earl had a way of bringing warmth and light wherever he went. His sense of humor, generous heart, and ability to make everyone feel like family will never be forgotten.
More than anything, Earl loved his family. The moments spent together — whether laughing around the table, telling stories, or simply enjoying each other’s company — were the moments he treasured most. His love, guidance, and presence will be deeply missed and forever carried in the hearts of all who knew him.
All services will be private. Earl will be laid to rest at West Park Cemetery.
