He was born in Cleveland , the son of the late Geraldine (nee Dunasky) Vacha. Eric is the beloved husband of 37 years to Kathy (nee Gould); loving father of Nicole Dunasky (Billy Manuk) and Kristen Dunasky (Jemy Chin); cherished Papa of Logan and William Manuk and Ayvah, Cameron and Tyson Chin; son-in-law of Thomas and Carol Gould; brother-in-law of Jeff (Sarah) Gould and Bob Gould; adored uncle and friend of many.
Eric enjoyed the outdoors from the early morning sunrise to the starry night sky. Since the beginning he loved to be out on the road, traveled to many places. He liked to visit Colorado, especially. He and his wife had to have seen RUSH in concert at least 15 times, it was one of his favorite bands.
Eric took his family camping at least twice a year, where he always found a place to go off roading. Of course, he would take his jeep out as many times as he could. He built his jeep from the ground up, took great pride in it. Would go to many Auto-Rama’s, Jeep fest/conventions where he won multiple trophies.
Another one of his hobbies was to golf with his friends almost every weekend. Eric always stayed busy, he enjoyed working on cars where he made a living from it.
He was an honest man who never wanted nothing in return. He would always say to his family, “I don’t want anything, I have everything I ever wanted”. As you look up at the starry night sky say hello, where we know he is watching down on us.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 from 3-7PM at Corrigan Craciun Funeral Home 14768 Lorain Avenue, Cleveland, where funeral services will commence on Wednesday at 7PM.
