

Hao is survived by his beloved spouse, Yen T Cung, and their children, Minh H Cung and Francis H Cung. He was a proud grandfather to Austin, London, and Rome. Hao is also survived by his half-siblings, Sim, Hung, and Quyen. Hao was an uncle to many.
Hao served honorably as a para trooper in the South Vietnam army for more than 10 years, demonstrating his courage and dedication to his country. After relocating, he worked as a steel worker and blacksmith, skills that showcased his strength and craftsmanship.
Hao enjoyed fishing and was an avid supporter of Cleveland's sports teams, particularly the Indians (Guardians), Browns, and Cavaliers. His passion for sports was a reflection of his energetic and enthusiastic spirit. Hao also cherished moments spent around the table, eating and drinking with family and friends, a reflection of his warm and sociable nature. He was well respected in the Vietnamese community, leaving and indelible impression on everyone he met with his larger-than-life personality and generous spirit.
A funeral service to honor Hao's life will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, from 4pm-8:30pm at Craciun Berry Funeral Home, located at 7200 Detroit Ave, Cleveland, OH 44102. Friends and family are invited to gather for the final farewell on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at the Ohio Vault Works, 6160 Halle Dr., Valley View, OH 44125, at 8:30 am where he will be cremated following the services.
Hao The Cung will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of strength, dedication, and love will continue to inspire those who were fortunate to have him in their lives.
