Janet M. Mundorf

26 February, 197624 March, 2020

Janet M. Mundorf, 44, of Cleveland, unexpectedly passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2020.

She was born in Cleveland, the daughter of the late Leroy and Viola Johnson Lovejoy. Janet is the beloved wife of 21 years to William “Bill” and loving mother of Jacob Mundorf.

Janet thank you for 22 wonderful years. You took the man I was and made me so much better. Thank you for never leaving my side. You complete me. God sent you into my drab and dreary life and made me whole. Thank you for the warm sunbeam of love that you brought to my life. My heart is shattered and I want to die, but I will go on and continue. I will honor you and the legacy of love that you have shown me all the rest of my life. I'll see you in the morning, my love. ~Bill

I am really going to miss you Mom. I could not have asked for a better mother. I loved you beyond comprehension. You did everything you could to make life great for me and you were always there for me. You always wanted what was best for me and did your best to raise me properly. I thank you for everything you have poured into me and my life and how you truly cared about me and everyone else around here. I will miss you so much and life will never be the same again without you. I really love you so much and it will be tough to go on but I plan to see you again in heaven someday. ~Jacob

I knew Janet as a child, she played with my daughter, Natalie. She was a sweet little girl with gentle parents and I was happy to have known them until we moved away. I'm so sorry for your loss and I've never read a more loving tribute from a family.

Me and my husband meet Janet and her family about 11 years ago at Pathway Baptist Church. She was very faithful to the church loved to work where she could. She loved to sing and she loved her family especially her son and was proud of his accomplishments. Her life was dedicate to God. Bill we are praying for you and Jacob that God will comfort you with your wonderful memories of her. Love Randy & Sharon Barger.

I’ve known Janet for up teen years. She attended my dads church. She was shy at first and hard to get to know but once she opened up she was actually pretty funny. I know she loved the Golden Girls, singing and was always looking to take a Ladies road trip. At church, she was always the one everyone looked to for words of songs they couldn’t remember, because, 99% of the time she had the song in her binder! Janet say hello to my mama for me! I’m sure your mom and dad were waiting for you as you walked through the gate! Rest in Jesus. Prayers for Bill and Jacob and the family. Also, for her church family as I’m sure she will be missed by them as well.

I had the pleasure of knowing Sister Janet since she was a little girl. And she was always smiling and joking. She was devoted to her family and to her church. She will surely be missed. My prayer is for God to wrap his arms around Bill and Jacob during this sad time
Love You All
