Jimmy was educated through the public school system in Arkansas. He moved to Cleveland, Ohio where he later met and married the love of his life Jeanette.
Jimmy was the proud father of Cynthia Davis, Rochelle Boykin, Lera Moore, and Jimmie Lytle, Jr.. He was also a beloved father to his step children Keith Rogers, Thomas Hogan, Jr., Kimberly Rogers, and Vonda Rogers.
Jimmy retired from the City of Cleveland as a Foreman in the Streets Department.
Jimmy was a very thoughtful and caring person. He loved to give and share. He was funny and loved life...a very tender-hearted individual. He was never unruly, but always shared his opinion. Jimmy loved black and white country western movies.
Jimmy transitioned from this life on Tuesday, October 1, 2019. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, F.T. Lytle and Lue Ollie Hopkins; brother James Lytle; and his daughter Cynthia Davis. He leaves to cherish his memory, wife Jeanette; children Rochelle Boykin, Lera Moore, and Jimmie Lytle, Jr.; step children Keith Rogers, Thomas Hogan, Jr., Kimberly Rogers, and Vonda Rogers; sister Clara Graham (Peoria, IL); grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
