Joann Rebecca Wilder

She was born in Prince George, Maryland, the daughter of the late John and Gladys McKenzie. Joann is the loving mother of Justin Keister, James Keister, Valerie (Timothy) Wilder, Larry Fitzwater and Denise Ward (Jay, deceased); beloved wife of Roy Rutledge; cherished grandmother of Tabitha, Meranda, Timothy, Leslie, Thomas, Robert, Destiny, Larry, Amanda, Jasmine, Madeline, David Jr., and great-grandmother of 20 and great-great grandmother of two; dear sister of the late Donald (Joan) McKenzie and Robert McKenzie; adored aunt and friend of many.

Funny, beautiful, and endlessly loving, she brought joy and laughter wherever she went. Whether she was painting ceramics with a creative spark or baking cakes that became family favorites, her warmth was felt in everything she did. She was the supportive heart and soul of the family—the one everyone leaned on, the true backbone of it all. She made sure family holidays were filled with love, laughter, and togetherness, always bringing everyone together and making each moment unforgettable.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 29, 2025 from 4PM-8PM at Craciun Berry Funeral Home, 7200 Detroit Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio.
