It's hard to comprehend how, despite never having met someone they can have such an impact on you.  I can honestly say I would probably not have made it through the years working at EMS without Joanne.  Not only was she someone that got the job done and then some, for all of us, but her attitude and humor really made it easier to just be at work on those days when everything weighs on you.
I'm better for having known her and I know many others are as well.  If we are judged by how we impact others' lives then Joanne certainly make a huge difference in this world both professionally and more importantly personally, and will be missed.
