John Schultz

JOHN SCHULTZ was born February 4, 1952 at Doctor's Hospital-Cedar Hill at 8:30am to the late John and Edith. He passed away at Southwest General Hospital on August 12, 2017 at 8:08pm, surrounded by his loved ones. He was diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer in June. He bravely battled but is now at peace. He leaves behind his loving wife Denise and children John, Lisa and Shawna (Sal); grandchildren John and Danni; sister Ann (Al) Kovanitz. He was preceded in death by his brother Dave and in-laws Joe and Dolly. John was a proud veteran of the United States Army.

John was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He wore a Steelers shirt every day. The night before he passed away, he and Denise watched the Steelers on TV and he was happy to see his team play. John was a light-hearted man who was always happy and joking. He loved spending time with family, golfing, fishing, doing small engine repair and being a pit crew to his best friend, Joe Jackson at Thompson Raceway Park. John was always willing to help anyone with anything. He was a loving and a supportive husband and father. He will be forever missed by all that knew him. Please remember him always. Be happy and enjoy life, that's what he would want.
