Joseph Messina

Beloved husband of Phyllis Messina for 67 wonderful years. Loving father of Cynthia Messina (deceased), and Renee Capuiso (Michael). Caring grandfather of Joseph and Alexis Capuiso. Cherished son of the late Joseph and Concetta Messina. Dear brother of Angelo Messina (Annette), James Messina (deceased) and Caroline Messina. Loved by his grand pup Cassius. Beloved godfather, uncle, and friend of many.

Joe was born in Cleveland, Ohio and moved here with his wife as snowbirds and made their residence permanent in Clearwater, Florida in July 2005.

He left a lasting impression on all who knew him through his humor and generosity. He was a Marine veteran of the Korean War as a Lance Corporal.

He was also a member of the Italian Sons & Daughters of America (ISDA) and Teamsters Local 400 Union in Cleveland, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Suncoast Hospice Care Center North, 164 West Lake Road, Palm Harbor, Florida 34684.
