June DeWeaver

June DeWeaver, age 82, of East Cleveland, Ohio passed away on Friday, May 6, 2022. June was born March 29, 1940. June DeWeaver was born in Cleveland, Ohio to James and Anna Stafford. As a teen she often spoke of traveling and seeing the world. In her twenties she found herself with 3 sons and married. Not totally giving up her dream of traveling and exploring life, she dedicated her life to her 3 sons, Michael, Nicholas and Andre’. She spent most of her life being a house wife and making sure the home was run as efficiently as possible, but held onto seeing other parts of the country. Her favorite place to travel was Ontario, Canada which became a yearly summer vacation for 1-2 weeks throughout her life. June loved to read and had a personal library of over 1000 books. Among those was a large selection of medical books and journals which helped to shape the way she thought about food, health and nutrition. As a young mother, she would tend to her vegetable garden during the summer and grew plants indoors during the winter. Being a curious person she found religion as a way to make her more grounded and became a dedicated member to the Kingdom Hall as a Jehovah Witness. For over 40 years she attended service and conducted many Bible studies at her home to help others learn about her Faith, and being a Jehovah Witness. June is survived by her twin sister Jane Harris, her 3 sons Michael, Nicholas and Andre. Grandchildren, nieces, nephew and countless friends and lives that June has touched throughout her life. A visitation for June was held Friday, May 13, 2022 at 4:00 PM at Cummings & Davis Funeral Home, 13201 Euclid Avenue, East Cleveland, Ohio 44112. A wake occured Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM, 13201 Euclid Avenue, East Cleveland, Ohio 44112. A funeral service occured Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 10:00 AM, 13201 Euclid Avenue, East Cleveland, Ohio 44112.
