Huh Mayra, we had fun working together. We looked after each other. I remember when you were trying to teach me how to speak some Mexican words, but that was before you left for Ohio, and I did not get to learn very many words. But it was al fun. We always called our boss,Eddie, MOM !! You were my best friend, and sister, and Iloved you very much. Then there were your children. I loved them very much. YOu were always a special person. I met Mayra through her husband Enrique, who is a co-worker of mine at Cleveland Water Pollution Control. Mayra always greeted me with a smile and some kind of embrace. Whether she offered a hug or a hand hold, I appreciated her inviting spirit. I also enjoyed watching Mayra and Rick with their grandchildren. They showed so much family love. May God continue to bless the Gonzalez family in Mayra's earthly absence.

Mayra is my cousin. I didn't see her much growing up, but as an adult we reconnected. She often reminded me of the importance of family in our messages. She offered comfort when I was down, encouragement when I had doubts, and told me she was proud when I had success. Even though she was always ready to give whatever was needed, she never asked for anything in return. Thank you cousin for sharing your heart, your smiles, and your love. I'm sad that you're gone but grateful to have had you on this Earth. I mourn your loss with a tear and a smile because I cannot help but celebrate your life.

My titi was an amazing aunt. She was always there for me when I needed her the most no matter what it What . She always pushed me to do better and to reach more than just my goal. I remember my prom day she waited for me on the front steps until I came and took pictures with her on my special day.  She even went to line up with me. She always knew how to make me smile even when I was feeling down.  I thank you and appreciate everything you have done for me Titi you're my Inspiration, my idol. But I will continue  to achieve  everything I told you I would Because I know you're looking down at me and guiding me in the right path

"Mayra", there is so much that can be said about this amazing woman. She has truly touch my life and the life of my family in so many ways. She was like a mother to me in my times of trouble and need. She welcomed me and my son into her life, and the life of her family with open arms.My son always asked to visit Mayra when we passed her street, he NEVER forgot that he was there, and loved her dearly as well. My mother met her at the doctors office and always said that Mayra asked about me and Brayden when she would see my mother at the appointment, that made my heart smile. I was blessed to have known her for over 6 years. Her hugs and sweet gestures made any day great. She always had the right things to say to make everything better. Mayra my love, my friend, you will always live on through your caring family. You ALL hold a special place in my heart! My son, My mother and I all are blessed to have met you and shared in your life. Love you Momma!

Mayra has always been a warm hearted, loving, caring and passionate friend. I have had the privilege of knowing Mayra through Rick and have gotten to know some of her family in the process. I having nothing bad to say about her. She always seemed to care for others and overall was a great mother, wife and grandma. You will be missed Mayra.

My sister and I grew up to Love each other and with much respect.
We may not have agreed on many things, but at the same time we were alike.
I would have thought that I look more like mom, but she turned out to look so much more then I did.  It didn't matter that I am older by 2 years.  
When we were teenagers, we of course share a room and believe it or not I was a little slimmer then (ha ha), we were almost the same size clothes.  
But when I found out that she wore one of my blouse, I got angry.  
She didn't think I knew she wore it, but you can tell when someone else wears your clothes. Those that have sisters knows what I mean.  Mom of course did not want to hear the bickering back and forth and just said to work it out between us of course.
When we played double dutch, not sure if many knows the jump rope times, we use to goof on each other that one of us use to try to be better than the other.  We loved to jump rope.  Roller Skating was exciting and talk about Hand Ball, I do admit that My sister was fantastic at it.
She use to play with the boys and she actually beat some of them. LOL
Wish that the children of these days get out more and play instead of IPADs and TV.

We were terribly saddened to learn of Mayra's passing. She was a wonderfully kind and compassionate human being, with a joyously radiant smile, utilizing these gifts of warmth in ministering to the patients she encountered daily in the Sass Friedman medical office. Dr. Price is so grateful for all that she did for him in her years with them. Her vital presence will be sorely missed.

No words found can describe what my heart is feeling today and the days to come. You had such an infectious smile, laughter and a special way you embraced those you let into your life. It has been almost 40 years since we have known each other. Though many years flew by us in absence but it never altered our friendship and love for ine another. 

I thank you for the new memories we made together eventhough they were short life but they will last an eternally.  You smile, hugs and kisses will live forever in my heart and memories. I will keep your whispered  words a secret for they were meant just for me, we will talk upon it once we meet again. Mayra I love you beyond words; I know you must go since my Lord awaits His angel so I will not hold you any longer.....may your path to Heaven shine bright as you are and were in our life.

Madrina, my only regret is that I allowed so much time to pass that we could never get back. I'm so heart broken you are not physically here, but grateful you are not in any pain. My Titi Yaya I sit here in disbelief and unsure on what to write but one things for sure, is that you will be truly missed. I had the wonderful pleasure of caring for Mayra as her home care nurse. We kept in touch even after I was no longer making regular visits to her home. I was blessed to meet her. She was a wonderful, funny, gentle and kind hearted woman.  I will miss her texts to me and our conversations. I know she is somewhere now where her little body is healed and strong. My prayers to all of her family at this difficult time. I know how important family was to her.

The first home my family and I came to live in, from Puerto Rico, was my titi Margies', I was only 6 month's old. As the years past although my mom moved from my aunts house we still ended up living in the same building, moving to the 18th floor. We were always at Titi Margies' and Mayra, was always so loving towards me and as a child I admired her and looked up to her. As adults my home was always open to my cousin and always enjoyed and looked foward to her arrival on mothers day weekend.  We always had a blast laughing, the one thing I will always remember . I'm going to miss you so much my love. Such an amazing humble beautiful woman.
God has truly gained an amazing angel. 
I will miss you always, however, I know that you will always be with us, your loved ones. Till we meet again.

Mayra was amazing person who I was blessed to meet through her daughter.  She always had smile on her face and welcomed me and my family with open arms..literally hugs and kisses from day one..I'm truly going to miss her. Lots of love to her family.

Lovely, happy, respectful, courteous, delightful, wonderful just to name a few are words that explain who Titi Mayra was. She was a woman with class, soft spoken and very consistent meaning she was the same person from the day I met her till the last time I saw her. When she could have completely deleted me from her life she turned around and embraced me more. She accepted and treated me like I was blood. I've learned that family don't always have to be from blood, it can be from good heart. The image of the wonderful smile she carried is the lasting image that continues to run through my mind. It was a privilege meeting Mayra, I will miss you so dearly and my heart will continue to hurt until any of this could make sense to me.

My Titi Mayra is a beautiful woman, heart and soul.  So many memories  that there isn't enough time to say them all or express them properly with words alone.  I was truly blessed to have her as my aunt and more so that I could be with her when she went home Abuela, Abuelo, Tio Joey, and Titi Lucy.  I'll see you again Titi I love you and you're always in my heart.

It is so sad to see such a good person pass. The world needs more good people like you. I remember the first time I met you. You greeted me and my wife into your home.
