Minnie was born June 22, 1938 in Acme, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Bennett Stone Duncan and Madelene McClure Duncan. She is the beloved wife of the late Henry M. Adkins and partner of 32 years to Steve "Butch" Hill; loving mother of Diana S. McCafferty (deceased), Melvin (Patty) Adkins, Michael Adkins, Steven Adkins, Belinda (Sam, deceased) Lababidi and Barbara A. Adkins (Ciano Torres); cherished Mama of Michael McCafferty Jr., Teresa Carter (James), Cindy Adkins, Liz Adkins (deceased), Chrissy Adkins, Michael Adkins Jr., Stephanie Adkins, Katie Adkins, Steven Adkins Jr., John Adkins, Shanna Ropelewski, Keith Lababidi, Samantha Lababidi, Sam Lababidi, Lil Belinda Lababidi, Merandia Demery (Gheramy) and Justin Adkins and great-mama of 17; dear sister of the late Jewel Smith, Frankie Ward, Bennett Duncan, Brenda Handy and Sonny Duncan; adored aunt and friend of many.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 29, 2021 from 4PM-8PM at Craciun Berry Funeral Home, 7200 Detroit Avenue, Cleveland, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11AM. Committal services to follow at West Park Cemetery.
