Mr. David O. Turner

DAVID O. TURNER, 94, was born November 26, 1923 in Statesville, North Carolina, to Junous and Lillie Mae Turner. David attended Iredell County Schools before relocating to Cleveland, Ohio.In 1947, David married the love of life, Eloise Rogers. The couple were the proud parents of David Turner, Jr. and Diana Holmes. David was active in his church and loved people and his family. He was very social and enjoyed spending days in downtown Cleveland visiting local business owners. Upon retiring from Ford Motors after more than forty years of dedicated service, David worked more than twenty years at Eaton Manufactures.On Friday, March 2, 2018, David went home to be with the Lord peacefully while at home. He was preceded in death by his parents and 8 siblings. He leaves tocherish his memory:his children, David Turner, Jr. (Sacramento, CA) and Diana Holmes (Illinois); three grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; a sister, Catherine Mickler (Warren); Rose Brown, a special friend for more than fifty years; Michael and Edith Fletcher, Richard Turner (Annie)his caregivers for the last five years; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
