

Anna B. Merriman was born November 23, 1924 to Richmond and Elizabeth Taylor Sanford in Mason, Tennessee. She was affectionately known as "Bea Baby" in her earlier years & "Aunt Bea" later in life. She was a graduate of Gailor High School in Mason.
She professed Jesus Christ at an early age and often said, "If the church doors were open, we were there!). The church she so fondly described was Alexander United Methodist Church in Tennessee. After moving to Cleveland, Ohio she joined Temple Baptist Church on Cedar Avenue under the pastorship of Rev. Eugene Ward.
Her love for her nieces and nephews was evidenced in her never-ending guidance and unwavering acts of kindness. These traits were extended to the community at large in her many acts and contributions to charities near & far.
She leaves to mourn her passing, 2-nieces, Charleen Strong, Sandra Smith (Myles), 4-nephews, Richmond Holton (Patti), Leon Dudley (Bonnetta), Phillip Holton (Alese) and Lawrence Holton. Grand nieces & nephews, Ronald Moreland (Grace), Tanya Black, (deceased), Charles Moreland, Bianca Quran (Abdul), Ariyan Holton, Angelina Dudley (Charles), Kevin Dudley, Alexsandra, LaJuanda Hill (Richard), Stephanie White, Latriece Thomas and Celeste Sumpter (Gregory). A host of great-grand nieces & nephews.
