Raymond and Bob from the very first time we met in Fort Lauderdale,Fl. many,many years ago I knew we would b e friends, you were both not only fun but intelligent and energetic people that loved life and beloved friends to many, you were blessed with courage, grace and a quiet dignity. Your entertaining both in Cleveland and Ft.Luaderdale will always be remembered.  I will miss the telephone calls from Raymond just to catch-up. Raymond was a wonderful man with a wonderful view of life and sense of humor. Our sincerest condolences to Bob and the Wolf family. The Bishop of Norway will celebrate a Mass in Oslo today to honor Raymond. Rest well in God's love.

Uncle Ray,

The world is an emptier place with your passing. Although you are at peace with God and free from suffering due to illness this past year, I selfishly wish we would have had more time with you here on earth. 

So many great memories. One of the earliest is when we went to Cedar Point, I believe in the early 70's, with mom, Dr. Bob, and I believe Aunt Alice. Bob had the red Cutlass convertible. These memories continued to be made for the next forty some years.

Your love of your parents, your grandma Springer, your sisters (my mom and aunt Melanie), nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and all of your friends, are testimony to your kindness, generosity, wisdom, and caring that you showed to us all, and why we loved you so very much.

We mourn our loss of you our son, brother, uncle, and friend. Your partnership with Dr. Bob was exemplary to all couples, companions, and friends. You had a knack for if I came to you with a problem of being able to explain the situation, enlighten me, to which I left feeling energized, better, knowing that things would be alright. 

It is because of everything I have mentioned above, other people's comments on this memorial page, that although you are physically gone, your spirit remains ever present. As we continue our journey here on earth, awaiting the time we join you, and all our loved ones that have gone before us, it is the memories and your spirit that will continue to guide us. My brother, my friend, my confidant, my rock, I will miss  you beynd words, we have always been each other's best pal since I came on the scene 16 months after you, our early years, our teen years, you always made me smile and I know how much you loved my children and grandchildre. I know  you are safe in heaven with Grandma, Dad and the entire Wolf family.  You are safe now from all pain and you will enjoy the peace you so deserve. Raymond was my boss, friend and truly a father figure to me for almost 17 years. I will always cherish our almost daily chats, our many fun trips together and his witty outlook on life. He truly changed my life for the better and was always so kind and supportive to me.  I am deeply saddened by his passing.  My sympathies go out to the Wolf family and especially to my dear friend Robert!

I'm so sorry to hear about your brother, Melanie. My thoughts are with you.

Uncle Ray was such a wonderful, thoughtful and caring man.  He will be missed by all who knew him.  I feel blessed to have known such a wonderful person.  Thoughts and prayers to Bob and the entire family.

Ray was a good friend ever since I moved to Cleveland in 1966.  That is long time and I will miss him dearly.  Along with his partner Bob Benyo, he gave some of the most memorable parties over the years that many people will remember.  God bless you Raymond.

Jim I wish I would have known that Mr. Wolf was you uncle. I took care of him down at the Clinic.  He was so dignified and pure class, and I thoroughly enjoyed the time I spent with him.  I will keep your family in my prayers.

I was very sad to learn about the loss of Raymond.  He was a delightful, friendly, and wonderful person.  I always enjoyed being with him over many years at the variuos parties and social occasions we frequented.  He exuded such positive energy and loved life!  My sincere condolences to Bob and his entire family during this difficult time.
