Rose Mary Melnyk, age 90, passed away Friday, November 12, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Harry R; loving mother of Catherine M Austin (Stephen), Gregory R, Ronald J (Penny), Harry M (Patricia), and the late John A (Michele) and Robert L; grandmother of 7 and Great grandmother of 11; great great grandmother of Zayne; sister of Margaret Columbus and the late Florine Dandrea, Stephen, Joseph, John, Andrew, and Alexander; aunt of many. Rose was a news junkie who loved polka music and making the best pierogis anywhere. Rose’s family meant the world to her and she reminded us every day.
Come celebrate Rose’s life Wednesday, November 17, from 4-8pm in the Craciun Berry Funeral Home 7200 Detroit Ave. Funeral Service in the funeral Home Thursday, November 18 at 11am. Interment SS. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery.
