Got on Twitter for the first time in a real long time today and read one of our old conversations. Such a good friend you were .. hope you’re resting peacefully.

Can't believe that this year will be 10 years and still know one  has any information about his death. So sad I remember this like it was yesterday. I pretty sure I passed him in the Cafe and he always had his big Kool aid smile on his face. Keep on smiling 😃 r. I. P sherwon wanzo 

Sherwon as the one year mark comes I want you to know that u r not forgotten. I know u have heard me talk to u each morning and night I have felt you in the winds of the trees I see your smile on young men of your age walking by I hear your laughter when your friends are near when I hold joshy I cherish my son much more then ever and I wanted you to know that as joshy grows up I hope he is like you  I want you to rest now know we are on earth with your heart beating with your breath within us you will remain within us we will live for you until it is our turn to be in heaven with you u r so missed by all of us  so very much rest now our friend till we meet again

I just heard about this sad story tonight through facebook and Fox 8, due to the vigil held tonight.
I didn't know Sherwon or his family, but I do know how hard it must be for all of you.  
What a handsome guy with a huge smile, and happiness in his eyes. 
May you find peace, and always remember that Sherwon will watch over all of you you always.

Sherwon wanzo . one of my big brothers. one of my closest friend. he was an amazing person. always smiling,laughing,dancing, just ALWAYS having fun.its crazy that this had happened to an amazing person. he was gna go far.. finish highschool, army, an collage. Sherwon was one of our groups closer friends, always smiling bigger than anyone ive ever met.. never thought i could miss a smile, let alone a person, so much. I'm glad i was able to meet such an amazing person, his nickname to us was Sensitive Sherwon.. prayers go out to the family. Sherwon was one of my bestfriends a wonderful person, always thought positive, he was handsome, loving, just full out amazing. I will never forget his beautiful smile, the way he dressed or smelled that strong personality. God Has a winner up their , Now we know we're safe we have a positive person to look over us. My condolences go out to the family, they are truly amazing people. I will never forget the way your son, nephew and brother touched my heart. I did not know Sherwon, but Mr. Jim Branham worked for me in Germany and in Iraq and I consider him a close and trusted friend.  I heard about this just today and wanted to pass my condolences to the entire family.
