I miss you dawg. I didn’t get to attend the funeral and it kills me, but I was exactly where you wanted me to be, in Atlanta chasing my dreams….nobody knows but you were the reason I even made it! You gave me your flight credits from that 2nd vegas trip COVID ruined for us lol. Btw… Everything went great bro!! I’m sure you saw it all from up top tho. I’m so  thankful for all the memories and talks we shared man, I’m thankful for the honor to have known you in general! Until next time my friend……Long live the HennGawd 🤟🏽

There's so many memories to share and not enough time to write them all down so I'll take them with me...I want to thank each and every last person whom has supported my family Monique and Levi and Jose and Tims mom and sisters brothers best friends aunts uncles cousins the list goes on this is a very unbearable loss for us all  as you all know Tim died doing what he always did saving lives and I mean that in every way he is and always will be honerd just as he was a hero my deepest hurt is for his son for we got so much time invested where he didnt it was tooken from him I feel we can all honor Tim by continuing to support Levi and and moe,by just being there for them checking up on them seeing If they need anything because I know Tim would have done the same if It were any of us so let's honor him always by continuing to do what were doing now ,I love Tim and I always will and though I cannot ease there pain I will continue to be supportive and there for the family and thats how we honor him God got another angel god got another hero until that day comes Tim IMA hold you down from here i love you kiddo love tete Sharon 

Timmy, I love and miss you so much!  You and Monique gave me one of the people I love most in this world, my precious nephew Levi, and for that I thank you. Before you were gone I would tell you both that Levi was MY baby and that as long as he had Titi around no one would bother him, and I will continue to say that for the rest of my life. Our Levi will remember you for the hero you were till your last breath and before that. My big brother, my protector. Thank you for showing us love and care and to strive to become a better person. Our last time together you taught me how to play darts, 2 vs 1 and of course you still beat us🙄. I will hold that memory close to my heart as I could feel the love and closeness we had in that moment while we laughed and played. I miss you so much, but I know you’re watching us from above. I had the pleasure of  being one of Tim’s teachers at Garfield Elementary in Cleveland .



Timmy was a giant Teddy Bear. He was big and strong, with an even bigger heart. Whenever I’d see him he always has a big smile followed by an even bigger hug. My son, his second cousin, was heartbroken when he heard the news. I didn’t know before this tragedy, but my son admired Timmy. He thought of Timmy as the cool cousin from Cleveland. 

It breaks my heart to see such a great person leave us so early, but it fills my heart with pride to know that he died a hero. Your family will forever remember you for who you were and the ultimate sacrifice you made.

I had the pleasure of teaching Tim and Monique!  I JUST ran into him at the zoo during the lights festival..It had been many years since I'd had him in school and yet he called me by name, ran up to me with a big hug and smile and introduced me to Levi.  We talked and reminisced, laughed and walked together for a while. He proudly talked about his job and future plans. He definitely embraced his role as a father, so proud of Levi.  My heart just aches for your loss...he was such a good, good person.  You are all in my prayers.

I met Tim while he was still training, very infectious personality and tremendous promise... I really got a chance to talk to him about life, work, and family. He was so proud of his son and the future he was making, before he left my shift I started calling him baby bro and it felt he was... All my love and condolences goes to the Cruze family and all who held Tim dear.

Our hearts go out to Jose and his family. We were neighbors for several years when Tim and his sister Sam were adolescents. We will continue to uplift Jose and family in our thoughts and prayers. God Bless You and keep you.

This is unbelievable but he was great person and I didn’t know him for long but he was my training officer and every time he seen me he would speak .. he did his job very well and he will be missed RIP  Cruz

Tim called me Grandma he's my Great grandson Levi's Father .  The 💕 Love That I witnessed between  him and his son was the most Beautiful amazing bond . I would watch Tim and Levi walk down my driveway hand in hand Levi skipping so happy to be leaving with his dad they would stop before crossing the street  Levi's little head would look both ways ,  Tim was teaching him to look both ways before crossing. He Loved monigue and Levi he was their Rock. My Heart is broken 💔 a Great  Dad for four years... gone too soon! I'm not sure if I can handle the day Levi picks up his toy phone or his tablet and  calls his  Dad ...as he does some times.

Tim was like a big brother to me growing up. I was bestfriend’s with his sister Deshona. We all have so many memories together from going camping, to cedar point, going to skate land, to simply staying in and playing games. I haven’t talked to him in awhile but I do remember the last thing he said to me was “you’ll always be my little sister, remember that no matter what” even though that was years ago it still felt like a good bye.. he really was such a happy person full of life and fun and cared so much about everyone. You will truly be missed by so many Tim. Breaks my heart that you’re gone so soon but you’ve served your purpose here and we all are so proud of you. Rest peacefully.

It is truly heroic to sacrifice your life to potentially save others. Cruz always made sure that when I was his partner or on his floor,that everything was ok.  
I remember he Helped me set up the tent at the county picnic that took 2 hours. When covid first hit the jail,I was on his floor,as his partner,and we complained for 4 hours how hot and uncomfortable we were in face shields,mask,shoe coverings and plastic one pieces. We had good laughs though. Thank you for everything.

I don't even know where to begin. I worked with you at the beginning of my apprenticeship, many memories of us together at the browns stadium. I hope you look over all of us man. Thank you for being the hero we all knew you were. Keep an eye on your father and I on our next job. Love and miss you Brother.

My other half is Mr. E who taught the Auto Tech program at Max Hayes. There were two Tim’s in his class so I started calling him “Freckle Face Tim” to identify one from the other.  I wanted you to know he truly looked up to Mr. E and they formed such a bond he was like another son to us. They did DJ gigs together, working on cars and motorcycles. After high school he remained a part of our family. He was at all of our cookouts, kids birthdays parties he also attended baby showers lol! He was so happy to be a dad and would bring Levi along with him. Tim was such a good kid with a big heart, big smile and always greeting you with a hug and left you with a hug too! We are hurt by his loss and have SO many memories to share. We loved him! 
I pray for your family and I’m so sorry everyone dealing with such a loss.

My favorite memory is the first time I met you at Brookpark Skateland.  After working with your Dad over 30 years ago at United Skates Roller Rink and seeing you after being grown.  There was no denying you were Carlos's son.  I thank you for being friends with me on facebook.  I enjoyed watching your son grow on there.  I was blessed and honored to know you.  Thank You for all the friendly conversations we had in passing at BrookPark Skateland and Benny's.  I send Hugs and Prayers to your family.  And never back down stay a Hero in God's hands forever.  I hope you come find me for another friendly conversation when I end up in Gods hands one day.  God Bless You and Your Family, especially your Son, Levi.

Tim and I weren’t close friends or anything but I always remembered him being a pretty chill guy back in high school, I always saw him laughing about something or with a smile on his face. 

My favorite memory was when we went on a family trip to Florida a couple years back. The thing I remember Tim saying the most on that trip was that everything was dope. He always said “that’s dope” or “that’s so dope”. Also while we were on that trip Dad, Tim, Jaidyn and I all went on the slingshot, a ride we found at a little carnival. Me and Tim went on together and were so scared. After we were in the sky we had so much fun. 

with tears in my eyes it hurts me to my core to know I will no longer see your face, hear your laughter or even share a conversation with you. you always been a selfless person and had one of the most beautiful hearts I know. Tim was my absolute best friend in high school, we were absolutely inseparable and his relationship with his father reminds me of my relationship with my father so we always understood each others struggles and successes. We have more memories together than I could ever count and I’ll always hold them close to my heart. RIP brother.
