

Donald Bryce McDougall, 92, of Killingworth, CT passed away peacefully on May 23, 2026. Born on March 30, 1934, in Caribou, Maine, he was the son of the late William McDougall and Mary (Lausier) McDougall.
Donald graduated from Portland H.S. Class of 52’
After high school, Donald went on to earn his master’s degree at Central Connecticut State College
Donald met and married the love of his life, his wife, Marion Skrinski in 1966. They shared 59 happy years together, creating a beautiful life and family together.
He had a long career as a Machine Maintenance Supervisor for Pratt & Whitney for 30 years, retiring in 1994. From there, he changed careers and was a Tax Preparer for H & R Block in Branford for 25 years, retiring in 2019.
Donald volunteered a lot of his time to the town of Killingworth, including 50 years with the Killingworth Ambulance Association.
Above all else, Donald found his joy in spending time with friends and family, those he held closest in his heart.
As well as his parents, Donald is predeceased by his son, Donald McDougall Jr.
Donald will be missed by his beloved wife, Marion (Skrinski) McDougall. He is also remembered by his children, Elaine Thompson of Gorham, ME, William McDougall, of Florida, Brian McDougall (Mary) of East Haddam, CT, and Karen Smith (Todd) of Deep River, CT. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Calling hours will take place on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 9am until 11am at St. Lawrence Church, located at 7 Hemlock Drive, Killingworth, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 11am. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Killingworth, CT.
In lieu of flowers, Donald’s family asks that donations be made in his name to the Killingworth Ambulance Association at 335 Rt-81, Killingworth, CT.
