Frank Guidone Sr.

GUIDONE, FRANK Frank L. Guidone, beloved husband of the late Lois M. Guidone of Grove Street, Clinton, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, January 15, 2011. Frank was born in New Haven, CT on October 12, 1914, a son of the late Francesco and Louise Savarese Guidone. Frank was employed by Sealtest Dairy for 27 years and retired in 1976. He was an avid sports fan and won the 1934 City Championship for the Sally Oil Boys basketball team. He loved the Yankees and even stopped at Yankee spring training while on his honeymoon in 1949. He is survived by his daughter Grace, his sons Francis, Jim, Bill, Joe, Raymond, Edward and David and their spouses, his grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. Frank was predeceased by his son John and his 9 brothers and sisters, Edythe, Rita, Vera, Ann, Florence, Thomas, Alfred, John and Monsignor Raymond H. Guidone. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 10:30 AM at Swan Funeral Home in Clinton. Friends may call the morning of the funeral from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM.
