

She was born on September 1, 1924, in Essex, the daughter of Leroy and C. Mildred Dudley.
She was the widow of John A. Hoyt II.
Mrs. Hoyt was a graduate of Deep River High School and was formerly employed as an Office Manager at Uarco in Deep River.
Her love of English was vast from proof reading documents, reading a book a day, to playing scrabble. She love nature, plants, animal, birds and children. Rescues cats and dogs. Travel and camping. She also sponsored a family in post World War II England.
She is survived by her daughters, Dorothy Coleman of Westbrook, Sharon Hoyt of Chester, Charlene Wilcox of Florida, and Wendy Hoyt of Old Saybrook; her sons John Hoyt of Mexico and Arthur Hoyt of Baltic; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and niece Grace Rogers of Middletown. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her brothers Leroy and Almond Dudley; her sister Alice Helenek; and her grandson Casey William Hoyt.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday October 12th at 1pm at Swan Funeral Home, 80 E. Main St., Clinton. Burial will follow in Indian River Cemetery, Clinton.
