

Margaret Boardman of Clinton, 91, passed away February 9, 2012. She was born November 24, 1920 in E. Herkimer, NY to James and Julia (Chrisman) Small. Margaret is preceded in death by parents, husband, Charles (Chuck) Boardman, and brother, Jacob Small. She is survived by children; James Boardman and his wife, Lorraine of Brooksville, FL., David and Mary Boardman of Waterford, and Richard Boardman and his wife Lourdes of Clinton, 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, sister, Julia Boniface, a niece and nephew.
Margaret (Peg) grew up on a farm in upstate New York. A graduate of Keuka College, a bacteriologist and medical laboratory supervisor on Staten Island, New York, an active member of her church and involved in Boy Scouts. She enjoyed various hobbies such as travel, gardening, cooking, entertaining, flower arranging, camping.and observing animals. She loved poetry and writing and receiving letters.
