Mary Ellen Keeney

Mary Ellen Keeney, 75, of Killingworth, CT, passed away at her home surrounded by family. Mary Ellen was born January 06, 1949, in Middletown, CT, to Theodore and Estelle Klember. She graduated from West Haven High School in 1968. She worked as a Nurse's Aid before she decided to raise her children as a Homemaker. Mary Ellen met her husband Charles in 1969 and they were married for 49 years before his death in 2019. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles, her son Charles Jr., and her brothers Robert and George. She leaves behind two brothers, Roy Klember of Guilford,CT, and Theodore Klember of Florida, a sister Betty Lou Rascati of Guilford, CT, and two sons, Robert and Joe Keeney of Killingworth, CT. She had three grandchildren, Taylor Keeney, Joshua Keeney, and Robbie Keeney of Killingworth, CT, who was her best friend and TV Buddy. They would sit in the same recliner for hours. She was also an aunt to many nieces and nephews. Mary Ellen was a great sister, mother, wife, aunt and grandmother. She will be missed greatly. Her service will be September 26th from 9-10:30 AM at the Promise Land Church of God in West Haven, CT. Followed by a graveside service at 11:30 AM in North Haven, CT at All Saints Cemetery.
