Robert G. Gendron Sr., 72, of Old Saybrook, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday February 23, 2013. Born in Newport, VT on April 4, 1940, he was the son of the late George and Hilda Gendron.
He leaves behind his two sons, Robert Gendron Jr. and his wife Sharynn of Clinton, and James Gendron and his wife Donna of Westbrook; a daughter Wendy Robere of Vero Beach, FL; three grandsons; Christopher Robere, Bobby and Brian Gendron, two sisters Patricia Ramsdell and her husband Ronald of Vernon and Judi Beaudreau and her husband Tim of Vernon and his brother Philip Gendron and his wife Arlene of Somers.
