

She was born on November 29, 1914, in Portland, CT, the daughter of Thomas and Mary (Webb) MacAlpine.
She was the widow of Robert J. Sinnott and Everett R. Yates.
Mrs. Sinott graduated in 1936 from the Teacher's College of Connecticut and taught Kindergarten for 43 years in Middletown and Westbrook. She was an avid reader, a fast driver and loved children.
Mrs. Sinnott is survived by her daughters, Kathleen (Curtis) York, of Sydney, Australia, Maureen Finucane of Merritt Island, FL, Arlene (James) Cavalieri, of Marlborough, and Gay (Robert) Weidlich of Vernon; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her brother Sydney MacAlpine.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 9th at 11am at Swan Funeral Home, 80 E. Main St., Clinton. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Westbrook.
