Sharon R. White

Sharon was born in Southington, Connecticut on October 9, 1949 to Robert P. and Alice S. Reckmack of Cheshire, Connecticut. She spent her formative years growing up in Cheshire and attended the local public schools.

Sharon was an alumna of the University of Connecticut, Class of 1971, with a BA in Medical Technology; and, she attained certification as a Medical Technologist from Yale-New Haven Hospital in September of 1971.

She attained the Master of Science degree in Environmental Science from the University of New Haven in 1987.

During her nearly 45 years as a laboratory medicine professional, she served as a Medical Technologist at the University Hospital ( Boston University) in Boston; medical laboratory manger at the Yale University Health Service; and, service at Yale-New Haven Hospital Health Services, Inc. prior to her retirement in December of 2015.

Sharon will be forever loved and missed by those who knew her.

Her surviving spouse requests that any charitable donations in memory of her life and service to the medical profession be made to The Connecticut Hospice, Inc., 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, Connecticut 06405.
