You’ve been gone two years and I still think on you often, always fondly. We spent several of our young years trying to figure it all out, miss you friend!

I just learned of this.
I spent much time at the Gagnon house growing up and would occasionally see Andy play around town.
Even as a youngster he was a force.
I’m sad to hear of his passing.

I just found out about Andy's passing on April 26 the memorial was over! I wanted to take the time to remember Andy and to give the entire family my deepest sympathy. Andy was an unforgettable person. A talented musician, who always had a smile😇 and when you finished talking to him you smiled too! We all grew up together , and there were many years going by before we would meet again, but when we did Andy would ALWAYS take time to talk and share happy memories! His smile😁 lit up a room and made your heart feel light! I know he has a very special place in heaven! May god bring comfort and peace to the entire family! Blessed to have had a good friendship with Andy through music jam nights at Mark Gatny's home studio and at various parties and gigs around town. Andy was a great American guitarist and had acquired a nice collection of amps, pedals and one of each great guitar that rock and roll was built on. Looking back on text exchanges from several years ago he was pleased with the referral I gave him to have my tech re set up his sunburst Les Paul. Next text about his growing guitar family was a picture of and the words "check out my new Telecaster"! That conversation ended with "I will see you at the memorial jam for Moe"  with the performance video from that fun night attached above. Looking forward to celebrating this man's wonderful spirit at a future memorial jam for Andy.

Will miss my brother in music and the love of the Beatles. Played with Andy many times since 1987 and have never had so much fun or laughed as hard as all those times hanging with my brother.  God bless him and his family.  Love you always, friend.

I’m glad I had this pic. We all went camping up north one weekend and had a blast with Andy! We still talk about this fun weekend! Andy playing his guitar and all of us singing at the bonfire was the best! Rest in Peace Andy! ❤️

 He loved this guitar but so did I big difference he’s a musician not was is well I told him my Dads birthday was coming up I’d moved back to sterling hgts and one of my Dads favorite songs is “great white Buffalo” and would he come overt& play it for my Dad of course he did he played it amped up way up & my Dad loved it!! Without him it obviously wouldn’t have happened 

 Stickers still on it he loved that guitar so much I gave it to him along with a Marshall dsl30 he said the amp would be perfect for playing @farbs it would be wall art if I hadn’t given it to him I knew it was in the right hands oh yea,he said he needed a wah I had 2 but he wouldn’t let me give one of them to him so he gave me $40 Andy didn’t have a lot of money which’s why I gave him the casino and he paid me back many times over by playing is anyone funnier on stage  his happy go lucky cheerfulness was contagious we all know that

.......and in the end,  the love you take       
is equal to
 the love you make.

Andy and I met on the first day of school in 9th grade. We got in trouble by the teacher that day for talking and laughing in the back of the class. Hard to believe, I know. Andy made me laugh and smile for the next four years. We played guitars together and showed each other what we knew. Andy played Ted Nugent, I think it was Great White Buffalo, and made me laugh. It was great seeing him and catching up last year over the phone, and at our reunion. There's a special bond when you know each other as kids that never goes away. Andy, you still make me smile just thinking about you.
May God's peace rest deep in the hearts of your family and loved ones.

Andy was such a force of nature I thought he'd always be around. We haven't seen much of each other as of late, but when we would meet up I always knew what to expect...that I'd be rolling on the ground in hysterics! He was by far the funniest guy I've ever met and easily a comic genius. I will miss him dearly. I so sorry for everyones loss.

Love and sympathies to  Andy's family and friends.  I knew Andy over the last 15 years and I have to say he was someone that I was always delighted to see and enjoyed his friendship and great personality every single  time I was lucky enough to run into him. He lit up every room, he showed me cool guitar licks, shared whatever he had, let me play his Les Paul, loved to laugh and share fun stories and sold me his old awesome Fender amp that I still love.  Put simply, Andy was a gem. I am deeply saddened at his loss. He will be sorely missed and fondly remembered always.

I've had a lot of great memories with Andy .we used to play acoustic  guitars in a little bar called the dive on Sunday nights . I will miss you Andy R.I.P  brother. 

Found thoughts of knowing and working with Andy, past 8 years, in the flooring industry.  Always aiming to please, with a sunny positive outlook, and "Can-Do" attitude.   Andy will be greatly missed by ALL that know him and worked with him.  May his family find comfort together and in their shared memories.

My brother Greg Schaff told me a great story of Andy………..
Didn't really know Andy Gagnon, but I do have a story about him.   When Carol and I were dating, I bought 8 tickets for a Jimmy Buffet concert for her birthday.   We are at the concert, Buffet comes out and tells of a guitar player contest that I believe they held in the parking lot before the show.   He then introduced the winner - you guessed it - Andy Gagnon, who played a wicked solo on the Pine Knob stage.   He was going to town, and Buffet finally had to get him off stage.   Andy extended beyond his "15 minutes of fame".   I proudly exclaimed to my 7 guests that "I know that guy!  We went to high school together!!!"  What a moment he had, and what a solo it was.  He rocked Pine Knob that day with a passion rarely seen, but always hoped for!
I'm telling you, he was soloing away and you could tell Buffet wanted/needed to get him off stage.  IT WAS.. AWESOME

Andy was a great guy whose smile was never ending. I met him through my brother who was a very close friend of Andy’s. He was a top notch guitarist, and I had the pleasure of him playing at my 50th birthday party years ago. He was always happy to see me with big hugs every time. Play on, Andy. The angels will love it. You are so loved by everyone who knew you.

Andy’s humor and immense talent was coveted by many. I had the honor of spending a few years working closely with him as idealistic twenty-something’s looking to make a mark in the world. I will always hold a place in my heart for him, the gods are jamming out today, rock on brother!
