Barbara Joan McKernan, of Algonac, passed away on November 2, 2019 at the age of 79.

Beloved wife of Donald for 49 years; adored mother of Chad (Amanda) McKernan and Jaime McKernan; proud Nana of Shane age 19, Mason age 14, and Peyton age 12; dear sister of the late Russell, the late Bob, and the late Larry. Barbara is survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Barbara was born in Tennessee on September 16, 1940 to the late Carl and Catherine Laws.

The family will greet friends from 3:00pm - 8:00pm on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd., Clinton Twp. A Celebration of Barbara's life will take place at 11:00am on Wednesday, November 6 at the above location. Visitation from 10:30am until time of service. Interment following at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Twp.

The family kindly requests that memorial contributions be directed to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
