I miss his saying

This is the life we’ve choosen.

Hard to believe 2 years have passed but Bill's memory will never leave us.  He was a wonderful, kind man who made everyone in a room feel comfortable.  He is dearly missed.

Remembering Bill on this anniversary of his transition.   🙏


How upsetting! I googled “Bagnasco” looking up another death and discovered the shocking news of Bill’s death. He officiated every death in my immediate family and beyond as his dad and uncle did for decades before. I wonder why we didn’t learn of it? My brother Sebastian (Buster) who also died at age 71 in 2018 probably would have been the one to tell us. 
In fact my mom, Antonina who is almost 102 years old even wrote down that she wanted Bill to officiate at her funeral. I was there about 8 years ago or so when she said it to him out loud and he joked back: 
 “Me? Officiate at “your” funeral? At your rate “you “will be officiating at mine!” We all laughed, but I said "No! Don't say that!" 
Now it’s so sad to think something happened to him too young! I’m so sorry. I’ll have to break the news to her this week and she will be very sad. Bill was so compassionate and conveyed the most beautiful empathy using such warm appropriate words. It really did make you feel better. My deepest condolences to his wife and loved ones.

Billy was an amazing person inside n out. He and Joe will be raising he'll up there as they did here.  He will never be forgotten and remains in our hearts forever!

What a loss.  This man showed true and genuine compassion with everyone he encountered.  His smile, and humor will certainly be missed.  Keeping the family in my prayers.  Fly high Bill.

We will never forget the difference that Billy made.

Bill was more than a cousin and more than a friend. He was the  one who comforted us in our times of sorrow. This sweet man left us way to early .Bill will be remembered for his kindness, compassion and empathy. Rest in peace. Frank and Grace LaRocca in Las Vegas

I had the great pleasure and privilege to work with Bill for a period of time. I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside many funeral professionals in my career, and few cared as much as Bill did for the families he served.  He will be greatly missed by all.  Godspeed. 

Being a cousin, I have known Bill my whole life, he will be remembered fondly as more than just a great guy, but a comfort to us when we were confronting sad times.  His compassion is something everyone in the Detroit community will never forget.  Rest in peace.

The funeral industry has lost one of its finest. For the past 40 years, Bill has been a colleague, friend, and a genuinely great person to have the pleasure of knowing. He was compassionate, kind and had the ability to light up a room. Bill will be greatly missed!

I am so saddened by the news of Bill's passing.  He was a wonderful man.  If you had the pleasure of meeting Bill, you made a friend for life.  He welcomed everyone with open arms.  He was a wonderful boss who made the difference for me when I started working at the funeral home.  He displayed such patience even when I made the biggest mistakes!   He and Jackie had such a beautiful, loving relationship.  It was a beautiful love story that was displayed to all.  He loved her so much.  He also loved his daughters and his siblings.  I am happy he had a chance to meet his grandson.  I am sad that Grey didn't have a chance to know him better.
He was a wonderful man who I will be forever grateful to have had the opportunity to know.  Rest in peace Bill.  You will be missed by many.  

I had the privilege to work with Bill on several occasions. He always took time to ask you how you were doing and talk with you for a bit. It Was always a pleasure to talk with him. Even if it was for a short time

One of the best things that happened to me late in my career was when fate brought Billy and I together as partners.                                                      
   We made a great team.  We both knew what our long time client 
families needed and we made sure that we were there for them.
   We respected each other to the point that we would trust each other with our families.
   I always appreciated that team work right up to the time when his 
wife and  him decided to leave our firm.
   My sincere sympathy goes out to his family. May the good lord   give. them the strength and courage to go on without him being there for  them like he always has been.

Bill was beloved by all who met him. Always had a smile on his face and a source of comfort to us in times of sadness. He will truly be miss. Rest In Peace Billy. 

He was a wonderful man. He helped our family through many difficult times. He always had that special poem at the end of every service which we loved. 
We will never forget him!

Billy was a true gentleman with class, poise, and passion for all people. He has shared in thousands of families sorrow, supported them through difficult times, and assured them in their faith.  He has been taking care of our family in our times of loss for over 50 years. From great grandfathers to parents and relatives, he's been there. This will be a great loss to the industry, his friends, and most of all our sympathy and sorrow to his family. But his laugh and smile, and gracefulness will be in our hearts for eternity. Bills was More a  than a co worker, He was A great friend.  He either called me Brian Carl or Haus.  He was called home to soon.  But I can’t  think when he walked thru the gates his good friend Paul Lisowski said “Welcome Home Bill”. 
I hope he  rest in peace.

I will remember the many good times  at the Harper Cruise’s . His  open house party he  had at his new home.

When I told my daughter last night he passed,  She was very emotional.  Every time  she would see him,  He would say there’s my girlfriend.  She always loved that.
