She was preceded in death by husbands Jack Capps (1963) and Vincent Suarez (2001); her parents, Earl and Dora McCowen, and older brother, Earl Jr.
Clarissa is survived by two sons, David (Phyllis, aka "Shug") Capps and Kevin (Dawn Marie) Capps, and a daughter, Catherine (Adam) L'Heureux. In addition, she had six grandchildren, Dawn, Jill, Amy, Kevin, Kim, and Cheri, and 12 great grandchildren.
Private funeral arrangements were handled by the Kaul Funeral Home, Clinton Twp. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in California.
