Daniel Gary Kurzawski

Daniel Gary Kurzawski, of Clinton Twp., passed away suddenly on Friday, November 3, 2017, at the age of 72. Beloved husband of 48 years to Helen; adored father of Gary Kurzawski and Cindi (Tom) Wolshon; proud grandfather of Kylie and Harley; dear brother of Marilyn Selbmann, Patricia (late Wayne) Sellers, Donna ( Terry) Teifer, Judy (Don) Kuznicki, and the late Richard (late Jean) Kurzawski.; beloved brother-in-law to Stan (Judy) Kowal, Rich (the late Barbara) Kowal, Jerry (Barbara) Kowal, and Joanne Kowal. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.

Danny was born on July 26, 1945 in Detroit to the late Frank and Margaret Kurzawski. He proudly served his country with the Navy and retired from Chrysler after 30 years of loyal service. In his retirement, Danny was an avid golfer, loved dancing in his own unique way, and loved going to the cottage and the boat there. His faith was apparent as he was always involved at St. Malachy for many years; as a long standing member and treasurer of the Men’s Club and as past chairman of the St. Malachy Summerfest. Danny continued to usher at St. Malachy, proudly having the slowest line at communion because he had to shake all the men’s hands and kiss everyone. He supplemented his faith and friendships by being a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus, a member of the American Legion, and a member of the American Polish Century Club.

The family will greet friends from 1:00pm-9:00pm on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd., Clinton Twp. Rosary service at 6:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00am on Wednesday, November 8 at St. Malachy Catholic Church, 14115 E. 14 Mile Rd., Sterling Heights, MI. In state from 10:30am until time of mass. Interment with military honors on Thursday, November 9 at 12:30 pm.at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd., Holly, MI .
