Daniel Leonard Sengstock of Clinton Township, MI passed away peacefully on December 3, 2025. He was born on January 12, 1955 in Detroit, MI to William and Margaret Sengstock. He is survived by his wife Nancy, his stepchildren: John (Mary), Lucy (James), James (Jennifer), as well as their children: Alexis (Jared), Blair, Jacob (Caely), Jeremy (Anna), Austin (Madison), Emily, and 9 great-grandchildren. Daniel is also survived by his father William, brother William (Lyn), and sister Sandy, along with his 4 nephews: Scott, Todd, Kurt, and Billy and their spouses and children.
Daniel was a huge car buff, he not only loved spotting some of his favorite cars on the road but at one time had quite a collection of die cast vehicles. He enjoyed watching sports with his family, but his favorite team was the Detroit Red Wings. In his younger years Dan was an avid bowler, something he enjoyed with his father, even winning many trophies. Daniel cherished his wife like no other, he lit up whenever she walked in the room. They enjoyed walking together in the park while listening to the local music on their Thursday evening date nights. He always made sure Nancy and her children had whatever they needed, however, he drew the line when she jokingly asked for a yellow convertible Mustang. Nancy knew he wasn’t giving in to getting her a Ford when he had worked on the production line at Chrysler for 35 years. She would still ask, and they would both giggle. Daniel was a hardworking man who enjoyed his life with lots of love and laughter. He will be missed by all who knew him.
