On Saturday, September 13, 2025, David Robert Grobar left this world. David was born to the late Marvin and the late Ruth Grobar on May 8, 1966. David was 59 years old at the time of passing. David was a loving son, a brother, father, uncle, cousin, partner, and friend to many. Dave was an established bowler, food connoisseur, dog lover, and an enthusiast of life. Dave loved all Detroit sports and was a diehard fan.
David is survived by the love of his life and fiancé, Lori. He is survived by his three biological children, Danny, Gina (Matt), April (Cody), his bonus children, Cheyanne (Jerrod) and Kaylee (Tyler). Also survived by his grand girl, Graelyn, his fur baby Bear, and several fur grandbabies. David leaves behind his stepmother Mary, his sisters Susan and Carole, brothers-in-law, David and Brian and step siblings, Michael, Melissa, and Michelle. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering for David will be held Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48035. A memorial gathering will occur Friday, September 26, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 35201 Garfield Ave., Clinton Township, Michigan 48035. A memorial service will occur Friday, September 26, 2025, at 11:00 AM, 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48035. Luncheon details will be announced.
