David Emrys Symons, 87 years old, who was born in Ystradgynlais, Wales, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2013. David was a Royal British WWII Air Force veteran and was extremely proud of his Welsh heritage. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary D. (nee: Aubrey) Symons, and father to the late Eira Wyn Smith. Surviving David is his daughter Jennifer Viars (Courtenay), and his four granddaughters Heather, Melanie, Erica and Miranda, and his six great grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the staff of Regency Manor Nursing Center and Seasons Hospice for the loving care given to David. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to Regency Manor where an event will be sponsored in his honor.
