Diane Gail Blumline, a resident of Macomb, Michigan, passed away on December 25, 2025, at the age of 87. Born on February 28, 1938, Diane was known for her kind-hearted and selfless nature. She was a faithful and devoted individual, always honest and deeply caring for those around her.
Diane is survived by her children: Dorothy (Rob) Chuchran, Mary (Chuck) Kubert, Christina (Jim) Savage, and Louis (Rhonda) Blumline; 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; brother, Henry (Debbie) DeKiere; sisters: Sharon Curlett, Pam (Al) Payne, Sandy Bynum, and Tina (Bob) Stanley; sisters-in-law: Pam and Toni; son-in-law, Dave Hranec; daughter-in-law, Sharon.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 47 years, Robert Blumline Sr.; son, Robert Blumline Jr.; daughter, Hope Hranec; parents: Henry and Florence DeKiere; brothers: Ben DeKiere and Jon DeKiere; and brothers-in-law: Richard Curlett and Jack Bynum.
Diane had a passion for painting and was an active member of her church's choir for 15 years. Her hobbies revolved around her children and family. She was always the first person people went to for advice, and she cared deeply for others. Even through her struggles, Diane always found a way to provide for her family.
Her favorite words, "Everything's gonna be alright," reflect the optimism and strength she carried throughout her life. Diane's last lesson to her family and friends was to "Never give up."
Diane Gail Blumline will be dearly missed by all who knew her, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and kindness.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 28, 2025 from 2pm-8pm, with an evening service at 6:30pm, at Kaul Funeral Home - 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Twp, MI. A funeral mass will take place on Monday, December 29, 2025 at 10:30am, with an instate prior at 10am, at St. Margaret of Scotland - 21201 E Thirteen Mile Rd, St Clair Shores, MI. Diane will be laid to rest at St. Peter Catholic Cemetery in Mt Clemens, MI following the services.
