Dear Dad, we all missed you very much yesterday , our first Fathers Day without you. Your oldest great grandson cried & wished you could have waited until after Father's Day to leave us. Praying for the right words to comfort young Brenden, I hugged him tightly, & told him this year you will celebrate with your own daddy, mom, brotherS & sister & many many friends , uncles cousins. I try to stay strong Dad. I know you said, what's meant to be will be. Some day we will. All be together again. Please help us Dad get through this sadness & heal our broken hearts. Also Heavenly Father , please guide us through all this. Dad , you would be very proud of your oldest granddaughter Christina . She always steps up to the plate to lovingly help me, knowing how hard this is for me. Jeff is also trying his very best. He's an outstanding man. I know you are very very proud of all of us!! You have touched & influenced more lives than you realized. But now you can see!! ❤

Grandpa was determined and had a heart of gold. Always have to laugh when he would have conversations about politics and money. He always pushed us kids to have some education and got job which is good advice.  I remember all the good times we had at the driving range with birthday parties and just visiting. "What's the good word for today?" he would always greet any one with. Grandpa you will be missed by many.

I rented a room  from a church member in Detroit & on the weekends I was able to go home to the farm because my brother would pick me up on his way home from work. On Sunday I took the Greyhound Bus back to Detroit.

My brother Ed taught me how to drive & helped me buy a new car. I was 24 years old & the car was a 1948 Plymouth Coupe.

When I meet  Sandy I was glade to ask him for his daughter to marry me and he said yes. Then I got to know dad real good he did a lot of funny things that included my bather- in - law Ron. He got us envolved in many crazy things to do and we learned a lot from him and  enjoyed it. I also like to go to the driving range and B/Q rakes of  ribs & chicken and he really enjoyed them.I also enjoyed driving the tractor and picking up golf balls and listening to all your great stories. I enjoyed being and help taking care you. Rest in peace love you dad

My grandfather was a great man with a great appetite for life and ice-cream. He always took interest in learning and teaching. We talked for hours about new technology, science, travel, and industrial achievements. He always made sure I had a subscription to national geographic and popular science. He believed strongly in following a pattern of life long learning and exploration. I will deeply miss my grandfathers teachings and sharing stories.

It's hard to believe it was 1 week today that Ron & I were enjoying dads company. He was eating his dinner. Ron took his main course down to warm it in the microwave. Dad said thank you. Ron also brought him two cups of warm decaf coffee. Dad was very grateful ❤ I complimented Dad on how well he did in therapy that afternoon . He smiled & was very pleased & we were also. We had an excellent visit, & for that I am grateful . We saw him at his best physically & mentally, for quite some time. I feel very blessed & thankful for that!!  My loving Dad, you are at peace now. No more sickness . So many wonderful memory of you. I love you always & forever dearest Dad of mine." Grandpa was always very patient and loving and though we raised some heck as grandkids, he never raised his voice to us. He would always teach us new things every time we were together. I learned a lot of life skills from him from working together daily at the golf range to working in the shop together. We made a lot of memories on all the vacations he took the grandkids on. All the Edward key sayings will be forever part of my vocabulary like, "What's new today", "thanks for nothing", "Easy to buy, hard to sell", "drive it or sell it", "the first hundred years are the hardest", "Rome wasn't built in a day" or "Boise collese ".  He will always be a part of our lives and I am glad we had so many years to enjoy with him. I love you grandpa!

I will always remember my grandpa as a sweet and caring man. He pushed me to do well in school as well as to succeed at work. I learned a lot about love, life, and kindness from him. He was always full of jokes, and he could talk to anyone for hours. My favorite times spent with my grandpa were when he would tell me a story, and he would get to the really good part, his eyes would get really big and light up. I couldn't help but smile as he described the scene with gestures and hand movements. My grandpa was a very generous man too. He offered to send me to Italy when I took Italian in college, and always said if I needed help he would help me. He is missed by everyone dearly. It has been proven to me at this time that God really only does take the best. I love you so much. We will meet again, Grandpa.

Grandpa, we spent so much time together and formed so many great memories.  I enjoyed all of the time we spent working in the shop, working out at the range, traveling across the country, and all the time we spent talking those many hours.  The thing that I admired most about you was that you were always patient with me.  If I ever wanted to learn something you would always spend the time to teach me.  I am so blessed to have known you!  I love you Grandpa! You will be greatly missed!

I am happy to call Edward Mancini my grandfather-in-law. Watching him and my husband talk was great and I could see where my husband got his interest in stocks and coin collecting. Grandpa was always full of advice and you knew that it was because he cared for his family. We will miss you Grandpa and we know that you will always be with us in our hearts.

Dear Sweet Dad, I was so proud and happy to share time with you. I feel so blessed to have had so many great years with you but I still was not ready! You have taught me many life lessons but mostly to be kind to all people. I was amazed at your strength and patience. Even in your darkest hours, you never complained. You took life as it came. You often advised me to do the same and I am trying. You were funny and witty and very smart. I loved when you came over, you always had a big smile and had tons of stories. You were one of a kind and my one and only dad.

Many good memories out at the driving range, chasing cows,  growing and selling corn, building greenhouses with his Brother Bob. I learned a lot from Edward (Dad) over the years and was grateful to have him as my Father in law. We had many long talks especially lately filling him in about the activities at the golf range, always getting his permission or advice about range matters. He expressed to me on the last day I saw him how he wanted the range to remain open to continue his legacy. I will forever remember the good times we had with him. I know he loved all of his family (even the son in laws)very much.

When Ron and I had children, you were very proud and happy to be a grandfather  you later truly cherished your three great grandchildren . You were happiest when you were there with all your loving family!! You were honorable, wise , strong, determined and a kind and giving man. So glad to have had you in our lives and happy that your great grandkids had so many years with you. Lots of great memories from working at the shop, range, and all the vacations we went on as kids. Thank you for being an active loving grandparent and being there to ask advice and always lending a helping hand to anyone in need.

I just have so many wonderful memories of your father.  From when he returned from WW2 to his last years.    Always a wonderful person he and Joan often visited in Niagara Falls.   Always he would call my Mom after Dad passed and check on her.   I have some great pictures of us on  the farm in the 50's - My Dad always wanted to visit his sister and every summer we made a trip in August.    Although Ed was closer in age to my parents he was always a good friend to me.    I will miss our phone conversations.
