Elizabeth Lois Mitchell

Elizabeth L. Mitchell, age 92, passed away on February 18, 2015. Elizabeth was the loving wife of the late Raymond for over 68 years. She leaves behind her children; Cynthia (Joe) Paribello, Jill (Bill) Browne, Claudia (Gene) Marrs, Karen Mitchell (the late Ed Wolf), Scott (Jeanne) Mitchell, Brad Mitchell, Keith (Dawn) Mitchell, Leslie (Andy) Baruta, Marie (Wil) Morgan, Dean (Ann) Mitchell and Heather Mitchell (Safaa Zaied), 26 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and siblings; Jackie, Shirley, Dorothy, Donald, Kathy, Margaret, Rosie, Dick,and John. Preceded in death by son Bradley Alan, and siblings; Geraldine, Edward, Joyce, JoAnne, Tom, and David.

Elizabeth enjoyed going out to lunch and spending time with her family. In her younger years, she was an accomplished painter and enjoyed crafts and knitting and she was just multi-talented. Elizabeth was also a girl-guide commissioner and a cub scout pack leader as well. She retired to Florida with her husband and they also spent many years traveling. Elizabeth loved to hear stories about her grandchildren and she always tried to attend any of their special occasions when she could. She will be greatly missed.

Visitation Sunday, March 1, 2015 from 3-8 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield, Clinton Twp. The funeral Mass will take place at St. Paul of Tarsus, 41300 Romeo Plank Rd. on Monday, March 2, 2015 at 9:30am with an in state time of 9:00am.
