Eric Stanczak, age 72, passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021. He is survived by his wife of 52 1/2 years, Helene; his children, Vince (Linda), Eric Jr., and Jason (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Ashley, Vince Jr., Erin, Stephen, Monica, Joshua, Kelsey, Alina, Emma, Emerson, Ella and Autumn.
Eric was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Jessie.
Eric was a very loving, caring, generous and hardworking man. He loved and cared for his family above all else. Eric was a car enthusiast and was member of The Farows and National Street Rod Association. He was well respected and liked by everyone. Eric was highly skilled and knowledgeable about classic cars, their histories, mechanics and body work. He loved to make people laugh. Eric had a tough exterior but also had a gentle, loving side.
A visitation for Eric will be held Wednesday, January 5, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary service at 7:00 pm at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48035.
An instate will be held Thursday, January 6, 2022 from 9:30 am to 10:00 am with a funeral mass immediately following at 10:00 am at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 22412 Overlake St, St. Clair Shores, MI 48080.
