I wish I had some pictures to share.  I remember him really enjoying life.  As kids, we had the opportunity to ride on his boat when we were visiting in Michigan, which was a great memory. 

You are a proud and faithful family, and may God bless you as well as he obviously blessed you father. I am truly sorry for your loss.

The last time my parents and Uncle Fred and AuntTheresa were together.

Most people called him Fred, but i called him "Daddy-O".   When I met his daughter Marilyn, oh, i'd say about 1972....................that's how long i know my DaddyO.    Sounds like 50 years, yes it is.   Nothing but good times, all the time. He always smiled, always complimented, always the happy man, that i known to love and cherish.   I will miss you DaddyO but will never forget you. You are always in my thoughts. RIP. Love, your "Other Daughter", Jan.  

I will always remember that your family was one of the other "big" ones on Cole street, Fr. Evon said it was because there were so few tv antennas back then. Tremberths, Solacks and us.  And I will never forget Mr. Tremberth letting us use his convertible Impala to drive up and down Gratiot our graduation day and then the Cadillac the night of the senior prom.  Wow we were hot stuff.  So, so sorry for your loss and pray God will comfort all of you.

The Tremberth family one of the absolute best on Cole st for sure ditto to what my brother said your dad definitely one of a kind or should say one of the kids we grew up with with very fond memories especially one specifically this is gonna bite Marilyn one night after playing ball @ good old softball city YES a big fight broke out with another team not only our manager being upset with us your Dad stood on the porch letting us know he was disappointed with our behavior omg it hurt but certainly made us think bout it I will never forget it but know he forgave us for the ruckus we never ever got goaded into another A LESSON LEARNED FROM ONE OF THE PARENTS THAT ALWAYS STEPPED UP with their encouragement or gentle reminders of the right thing!  So very sorry for your loss of your dad a life well lived & beyond

I used to enjoy visiting with Mr. And Mrs. Tremberth when visiting my mom when I drove over from Naperville, Illinois. Cole street was a great neighborhood where many of us developed lifelong friendships and fond memories that live on to this day. Mrs. Tremberth had the most beautiful blue eyes and Fred was always tinkering in the garage. I was always curious about the scar on his chest. I later found out he was wounded in battle during WWII. He will be missed.

My condolences to all you Tremberths and families. Your dad was one of my favorite Cole street persons. He always reminded me 
that you could never get too old to "Go Out and Play". One of my 
best childhood memories of your dad was when he not only jumped over a wagon and also a doghouse but then the doghouse on top of the wagon in our back yard ice skating pond on none other than about 3 ft long bladed ice speed skates. Believe me when I tell you that was quite impressive to a 10 year old.
Your Dad and your Mom really helped to make growing up on Cole street a very special thing and I will always remember that.

It's hard to believe I met you 45 years ago and got to see your joy for life, Snowmobiling,  Jet skiing and of coarse your Beautiful Red Convertibles.
You will be missed and it's hard to see you go!

Fred lead a full and wonderful life. We were always in awe of his young and adventuresome spirit. After all, none of us had ever known grandparents, much less great grandparents, that snowmobiled and jet skied well into their eighties. He was not one to miss a party. We have told many of our friends about our son-in-law’s (Chris) grandfather’s enthusiasm for life. We are forever grateful and felt so blessed the way that Theresa and Fred accepted us into their extended family. When I expressed that  sentiment to Theresa one time, her response was, “Well sure. Anyone that marries a Tremberth becomes one.” We were privileged to have known him. Our condolences to his wonderful family and to all who loved him.

Marilyn and family, I am so sorry to learn of the death of your father. I know that you were very close and it is so hard to say goodbye. Please accept my condolences and I hope you find comfort in your happy memories. Let me know if I can help in any way.
