Born in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, Harold graduated from the University of Detroit with a bachelor’s degree and went on to build a meaningful career at General Motors, serving as a Financial Manager in the Pontiac Motor Division.
In April of 1962, Harold met the love of his life, Mary “Lanette,” and they were married that November. Their marriage was a beautiful example of deep, unconditional love — a bond filled with laughter, tenderness, and mutual admiration. Harold lovingly referred to her as his “wifey,” and their devotion to each other was the cornerstone of a life rich in family and joy.
Harold was the best hubby, dad, papa, and friend anyone could hope for. His playfulness and endless supply of terrible puns and dad jokes were quick to put a smile on faces and could light up any room. He had a remarkable way of making others feel welcomed, seen, and loved. If you met Harold, you never forgot him — his kindness and humor left a mark that stayed with you.
More than anything, Harold adored his family. His love for them was boundless and deep. He modeled unconditional love in the way he raised his children and doted on his grandchildren.
Harold is survived by his wife, Lanette; children: Yvonne Lozen, Denise Greenway, Brian (Susan) Lozen, and Phillip (Amy) Lozen; and grandchildren: Matthew Greenway, Jacob Greenway, Kyle Lozen, Anna Lozen, Jackson Lozen, Alexis Lozen, and Benjamin Lozen.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Harold J Sr. and Julia L Lozen; and sister, Janice Mathis.
