Ieva came to America after the war and proudly became a U.S. Citizen on May 26,1950. She worked for over 20 years at Lord & Taylor. Ieva was an avid fan and loved watching the Detroit Tigers & Detroit Red Wings!
Ieva was married to the love of her life, Hans Jurgen Barm for 42 years, and he preceded her in death on January 19,2005. She is survived by her children, Bruno Barm, Alfred (Cindy Kennedy) Barm, Carla Steiner, Ingrid (Dave Rogers) Mazur; and grandchildren, Jacob, Luke, Taylor.
Private family services for Ieva will be held.
