Irving was in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a teacher for over 40 years, retiring from the Grosse Pointe Schools. Irving was cheerful and could always be heard happily whistling.
Irving is survived by his children, Kurt Parsch, David (Denise) Parsch, Ken Parsch, Kathy Parsch; his 7 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by Mary, his loving wife of 45 years, and a daughter, Kristen Parsch.
A visitation for Irving will be held Friday, October 28, 2022 from 2pm to 7pm at Kaul Funeral Home. A funeral service will occur Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 11am at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48035.
