Jacqueline “Jackie” Kutney passed away January 7, 2025 at the age of 75 in her home in Clinton Township, Michigan. Jackie was born June 29, 1949 to Edward Jaskolowski and Theresa Jaskolowski (Pezanowski) and grew up in Roseville, Michigan. Jackie was the beloved wife of 49 years to John Kutney; cherished mother of Steven Kutney and Jennifer (Jeremy) Sheldon and proud grandma to Connor and Quinn Sheldon. She is survived by her three sisters Christine Green, Terry (Bob) Fecko and Joyce Pacler; sisters in laws Jean Rymiszewski, Katherine Biernacki, Louis Knight and many loved nieces and nephews.
Jackie was a dedicated teacher for 34 years at Lottie M. Schmidt Elementary School in Anchor Bay; creating friendships that would last many years after retirement. Jackie loved to travel and spend time with her family and friends. She had a kind, compassionate heart and was always grateful for the simple things in life. She will be deeply missed by her loved ones. May the memory of her beautiful spirit bring you joy and comfort.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2025 from 12-4 PM with a short service at 3 PM at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road, Clinton Township, Michigan. Light refreshments will be provided during the visitation.
