James A. Fox

He was a proud Navy veteran and worked for Wayne County Road Commission (W.C.R.C). Initially building roads, he retired in 1985 as the official W.C.R.C. Photographer. He enjoyed traveling, golfing, cooking and spending time with family and friends.

Loving husband to Marie T. (Breen) Fox; dear father of Patricia (David) Purchiaroni, James W. (Diane Churchill) Fox, Kathleen Fox and Robert Fox; dear brother of Elizabeth (Richard) Hull, Kathleen (Gary) Pinkley, Jeanette Boss, Margaret (Richard) Vitale, Daniel J. Fox, O.F.M. Capuchin, William Fox, Robert (Anita) Fox and Ellen Fox; sister-in-law's of Michelle Fox and Joann Fox; brother-in-law's of George (Marilyn) McGrath, Robert Breen and Joseph (Ann) Breen. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas J. Sr. and Mary E. (LaFeir) Fox; his brothers, Thomas Jr., John Sr., and Alfred Fox; his sisters Mary Marsh and Anne Fox-McGrath; sister-in-law's, Shanna Breen, Patricia Breen and Patricia Radke; brother-in-law's, Gerald Marsh, Walter Dubois, Dr. Peter Boss, Patrick White and Louis Radke; nephews Daniel Marsh, John Paul Marsh, James Woloskie, Dr. Gregory Boss and niece Catherine Hull.

The family will greet friends on Monday, September 20th from 5:00-9:00pm at Kaul Funeral Home of Clinton Township with a Knights of Columbus rosary at 7:00pm. Memorial mass Tuesday, September 21st at 11:00am at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, 28301 Little Mack Ave in St. Clair Shores.
