This was my Aunt’s favorite photo. Throw back to high school grad. My Aunt was the kind of person you always want in your corner. Her ability to make you laugh uncontrollably until you cry, no matter how grave a situation, was a gift to us all. She was a fighter, tough as nails and fought until the very end. Early Tuesday morning, at only 54 yrs of age, we were forced to say goodbye. We stayed by her side until her last breath. We were able to let her go surrounded by love as heavenly hosts of angels welcomed her home. For 3 years She fought hard, her battle against Leukemia. We had to say goodbye, but it’s only for a little while. She is free now and I’m thankful for no more suffering and no more pain. Rest well Aunt Neener. Each of us whose life you touched are forever changed for the better because you lived. I love you, I’ll be seeing you on the other side.
