Joyce A. Asfar

Joyce A. Asfar passed away on July 30, 2022, at the age of 85. She was a warrior, the loving mother of Kathy Asfar, Paula (the late Arthur) Stockard, the late Edward John Asfar, and the late Alan Fred (Barb) Asfar. She was the cherished grandmother of John (Sandra Ann) Burney, Tracy (Larry) Gill, Lisa (Mike) Herzig, and David (Brooke) Asfar. She was the dear great grandmother of John and Allasandra Burney, Carter and Nolan “Noah” Herzig, and Trenton Asfar. She is also survived by her siblings Boyd “Jr” Taylor and William Labudde, and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Joyce will take place on Sunday, August 7, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road in Clinton Township. A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 8, 2022 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Friends may visit on Monday beginning at 10:00 am.
